I have worked with fabrics, threads and yarns most of my life. My grandmother taught me the basics of sewing and knitting at an early age and inspired much of my design work. I contructed my own clothing during my teen and college years. With a fashion merchandising and design degree from Washington State University, I modified and altered clothing for people with physical disabilities in the early 1980's. Fiber and and wearable art have been my focus since 1997, two-dimensional abstract work began in 2004 and the sculptural knitting began in 2010.

My work has been exhibited in a number of venues in western Washington, including the Nordic Museum, Gallery 110 and Artfx Studio and Gallery in Seattle, Sixth Street Gallery in Vancouver, Northwind Gallery in Port Townsend, and the Pacific Northwest Quilt and Fiber Art Museum in La Conner. Nationally, my work has exhibited in Portland Oregon and Chicago Illinois.

Fiber art commissions welcome.
